A brief bit about Pauli Murray:
Pauli Murray was an activist and lawyer. She was a founder of the National Organization for Women. At Howard University law school, her Senior paper was influential in the Brown v. Board of Education case. Pauli Murray also worked with organizations such as the ACLU. When she moved into academia, she spent a year as vice president of Benedict College. Later in life she became the first African-American woman ordained as an Episcopal Priest. If that wasn't enough, Pauli Murray was also a published author. Join us on Feb 1st to learn even more about her life.
